    Hi,
I'm going to help someone else create a website. I'm new at WP. I've mainly used DreamWeaver for making sites in the past, but I love being able to give a person a site they can do themselves. Do I just install WP on their computer and then just give myself admin rights so I can work on it from my own computer? How does that work?

    Thanks!

Thanks. I've looked at that resources and tried to find my answer, but couldn't. Do you have any suggestions of where to look more specifically?

Try following the links in the WordPress for beginners section.

You'll need a domain name and web hosting space.

if you're installing wp for other people then they need to have:

    a) a domain name
    b) web hosting

you then install wp on their web hosting (not their own computer) and configure it for them from there. if you install it and configure it then as long as your client agrees you can create yourself a new admin account and tweak away :)
