Creating a categories page

    I know this has probably been answered, but I can’t find anything that has helped me. I want to create a page with all my categories listed on it. Currently, it’s in my sidebar, but I when I copy the code into a new page, it doesn’t show up.

    How do I do this?

    You cannot put any PHP code – like template tags – in the content area of a Page (or post, for that matter).
    What you can do: create a new Page template and put the code in the template file, then create a new Page by using that template (don’t write anything in the content).

    Another option is to use a plugin that allows you to run PHP in posts/Pages. Search for phpexe, execphp, runphp and similar keywords…
