Creating a Blog Template Page

    I am not a WordPress expert but I have been trying to figure out how to create a Blog Template Page for http://ridgleawest.com/

    Is there anything anyone can do to help me. I know how to create templates you just copy and paste the original templatename.php file and change the name and whatever else you want to change.

    I really just need some help please! Thanks in advance

    I would really just like 5-10 blog posts to show up but not the whole article, like 300 words from each.
