  • Does anyone know why some themes don’t include other pre-made pages by default? Like I have “home” “about me” “contact” but only home is showing up, and I think that’s by default.

Like the default wordpress theme includes them, but other themes dont include them at all

  • Most themes include at least 1 default page template file (page.php). In theory, that’s all a theme really needs. But then I’m not sure that your problem has anything to do with template files. You say that only home is showing up – do you mean that it’s the only link on your navigation menu?

Here is the theme that I am using:

Notice how they have “home”, “about”, “test”, etc? Well in the original theme that came with wordpress I went to pages-> add new page and created an About Page/Contact Page/etc…those showed up.

When I switch to this theme they aren’t there, only a default “home” is available

Does your theme’s nav menu is wp_list_pages, wp_nav_menu or wp_page_menu?
