Created a custom taxonomy with CPT UI but its not appearing on the Block Editor

    Hi,

    I created a taxonomy called writer in CPT UI under a new post type. I was hoping it would also appear on the Block editor on the list of blocks but its not. The REST API option is set to true. I am trying to show that writer field under the post title in the custom built archive page using blocks.

    I can see that option in the right side under Categories/Tags list which is working fine. I need it on the block editor.

    Is that even possible?

    Any help is highly appreciated.

    Not quite sure what you mean by “on the block editor” and “on the list of blocks”. Are there some blocks in your install that are perhaps category/tag based that you were hoping would integrate with a custom taxonomy, that are in fact not? Or perhaps a block around posts that aren’t showing this “writer” taxonomy?
