# Create User Area – Any plugin?

 * Hello everyone!
 * I’d like to set in my furniture website an area where registered users could 
   access.
 * In this page, users could download general material such as catalogues, magazines,
   videos and photos.
    Later on I will want to set personal information such as ‘
   my orders’, ‘my profile’ and other information of each user. This info is in 
   my system, won’t be in WordPress, we won’t bother about this panel by now.
 * I need the best way to solve this to know in advance if I am capable of doing
   this in WP or if I need a proper web app in PHP to archieve this: register users
   and let them access their profile.
 * Once logged in, in the new page I would show SQL request to my system and show
   their information in this dashboard, I will see what information I will show.
 * I won’t have an ecommerce, I just need to access to this personal site and show
   media material (PDF, MP4, JPG,…).
    I need that won’t show anything of WordPress
   such as login or WP dashboard. I need to show a complete transparent process 
   to the users of a solid system and not that you go through WordPress login page,
   such as when you login on Amazon, eBay or your email. You access to your personal
   area but you you dont have the impression that you are out of the system.
 * If I cannot get this from WP, I will have to make a web app in PHP taking me 
   lot of time.

 * There are several plugins that can create user areas.
    You may find some here:
   [https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/user+area/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/user+area/)
 * Most e-commerce plugins like WooCommerce have areas for “my orders” though, so
   it may be redundant, depending on your choice of e-commerce plugin.
