 * I need to save the permalink for the blogposts in an extra database.
 * With get_option(‘permalink_structure’) I get to know how the permalink for the
   blog should be, but how can I create the permalink?
 * I assume that there is already a function for this in WP, but I don’t find it.
   Hope anyone could help me.

 * That’s an excellent documentation what a permalink is, but it doesn’t help at
   all (or at least I didn’t see anything that would help)

 * Thanks for your effort, but I think you didn’t understood my question …
    I don’t
   want to know what a permalink is or how you can create it in generally.
 * WP creates a permalink according to the data from the permalink_structure defined
   in the admin panel and the data from the blogposts. I want to know, which function
   creates these permalinks in WP!
