# Create my own calendar plugin

 * We have an Intranet built with WordPress and need a yearly calendar, I have searched
   and searched for a plugin which can display a yearly calendar as per the example
   and can only find day/week/month not year..

 * I know basic PHP and can read code so I thought I may as well try to create the
   plugin.
 * I will need a user to have the ability to edit, add and delete
 * Just hoping someone can give me a starting point?
 * I was thinking download a free calendar plugin and study that first?
 * Any help appreciated.
