Create multiple redirects of the same source

    I’m able to create the same source url a number of times, is there a reason why this plugin allows for this? I would think once it’s created, there should be an error stating ‘Redirects already exists.’ Thoughts on this?

    Some people need to create multiple variants for the same URL. Some people create regular expressions which may match many URLs.

    That makes sense, but is there a possibility to have validation error if the source url is an exact match? What I found out that if source url is ‘/reserve-this-url’ for a few that are created (with different destinations), then the one with max position will render. The ones with lower positions will not. I thought it might be a bit confusing if future imports were to be made, and if they already included existing redirects, there would be multiples of the same.

    It’s complicated to do, and not something that is currently planned. Maybe something in the future.
