• Hi there,

    I’m looking for some advice about the following:

    I want to build a website where a selected ‘password-protected’ group of users are allowed/are given access to:

    a. Create an event by filling in a front-end custom form. By submiting the form this should create and show the event in an event calendar.
    b. The created event details should be available for website visitors in a custom event detail page when they click on the event in the calendar.
    c. Besides creating events, the user should also be able to manage (edit) their events. But I don’t want them to have access to my complete background (WordPress dashboard) and they should only be able to manage (edit) their own events.
    d. If I know how to build a-c then I can figure out how the use can write a blog about the event in the frontend.

    Any advice which combination of wordpress plugins can do (a-c) what I want. I have search on the internet, but did not yet found plugins that can do this all together or maybe the can, but then I don’t know yet how. I have no coding skills, for me it’s more trail and error and learn by finding out.

    I’m aware of the following plugins:
    * Ninja forms
    * Advanced Custom Fields
    * Events Calendar
    * Anywhere Elementor
    * Elementor (pro)
    * Custom Post Type UI
    * Post Meta Inspector

    Or any tips that will point me in the right direction is appreciated.

    Many thanks and regards,
    Tim
