# Create event from post?

 * I run an event website where most of my posts are also events. It’s a pain to
   basically copy and paste. Is there a way to create an event from a post or add
   fields to the new post area?

 * There’s no functionality like that offered by [The Events Calendar](https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar/),
