Create Directories

Hello.

Is there a way for web visitors to simply upload files into a designated root directory having the structure behave the same as a local directory? By this I mean, give them the ability to create directories, upload files into those directories, rename, delete, etc.?

I’m thinking of leaving it open (no FA user-ID, if possible), but protect the page containing the source code via a WordPress page user-name / password to allow access.

Any help will be much appreciated, as this is the only portion that is giving me difficulty in figuring out (assuming such is even possible of course.
