Create Database Backup option not working

    Hi
    Could anyone help me to figure out the database backups to email on wordpress 3.7.1
    when am trying to click on Create Database Backup option it turns into white blank page.
    I want to know whether php memory limit is causing problems or not ?
    So as of now my server php configuration as below :
    Memory Limit :40M
    Memory Limit Max :256M
    PHP Version :5.3.27

    Please help me out in this problem.

    I can confirm that the backups are not being created anymore with version 3.6

    Database backup fix would be really nice for the holidays.

    I have the same problem. Backups are not being made. I have debug on and I get 4 warnings:

    WARNING: wp-content/plugins/better-wp-security/inc/backup.php:118 – fopen(/mysite-url-is-here/wp-content/plugins/better-wp-security/backups/database-backup-1388318321.sql): failed to open stream: Permission denied

    WARNING: wp-content/plugins/better-wp-security/inc/backup.php:119 – fwrite() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given

    WARNING: wp-content/plugins/better-wp-security/inc/backup.php:120 – fclose() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given

    WARNING: wp-content/plugins/better-wp-security/inc/backup.php:131 – unlink(/mysite-url-is-here/wp-content/plugins/better-wp-security/backups/database-backup-1388318321.sql): No such file or directory

    Anybody any idea what the problem is?
