“Create” custom field error: “Something went wrong, please try again later!”

As soon as I get to the custom fields step, none of the fields are created automatically and then when I click the “create” button I get the following error “Create” custom field error: “Something went wrong, please try again later!”

Please provide more thorough documentation and code in some more useful error messages, please!
