    Hi,
I need a custom field in profile page that only editable by a specific UM-UserRole
Is it possible? How can I do that?
If not, is there any workaround?

I need to create a “user admin” (an UM-Role) but not a “WP Admin”. This user can approve/cancel user verification in UM-Verified extension, grant an access to other user and give user a Member-ID in a custom field.
But this “user admin” is not a WP admin. I do not want to give them access to backend, themes, backup, seo, etc

    How can I do that?

    Regards
    RAA

    Hi @raliabdillah,

If you need to change privacy settings of a field, please go to Ultimate Member > Forms > Edit a Form > Edit a Field and see Privacy.

    Thanks.

I want the field visible to everyone but editable by only a specific um_userrole.
    UM>Form>EditForm>EditField just manage visibility.

for example: I want my HR staff to assign REGISTRATION NUMBER for verified a member.
She is not an admin but assigned to have HR-User-Roles, the REGISTRATION NUMBER must be visible to everyone, editable only by HR Users.

    Hi @raliabdillah,

Unfortunately, this will require customization if you’re planning to use a single profile form. You can add multiple profile form in a User Page using a shortcode. Just assign that profile form to specific role so it will only show to them. See UM > Forms > Edit a profile form > Turn off “global settings” > Assign role.

    Thanks.

    Hi @ultimatemembersupport,

You were saying that u could have multiple different profile form and then assign the forms to a specific role, did I understand well ?

If that’s the case coume you explain more in details how to do it ? Because I currently hazve two roles, a normal user and a vendor and I wish they have different profile fields.

    Thanks for any help,
    Thomas
