create child theme

hi, i know how to create a child theme, i have done it before with the default templates, twenty eleven, twenty twelve
now i am trying to create a child from a template i have downloaded, “raindrop”.
but it don’t work
site come out like if there is no css, or other things, just text
what it could be?
