    Hello,

Thank you for this “GD Power Search for bbPress” plugin.
I’m trying to make it work on our Intranet (private). Our site is based on Woffice (Buddypress + BBpress). As said in your documentation, our theme already changes the search form so the advanced form doesn’t enable correctly :

Mais, si votre thème remplace déjà le formulaire bbPress par défaut, cette option l’arrêtera et pourrait causer des problèmes avec la disposition du formulaire de recherche. Consultez la base de connaissances pour savoir comment ajouter un lien à la page du formulaire Power Search.

I don’t find the info in the knowledge base to create a link to a specific page where the form could be displayed nicely. Could you help ?
    Thanks !

Sorry for the late reply to this. The plugin is designed to work with bbPress search page, there is no other way to make it work. If your forums home is http://www.site.com/forums/, search page is http://www.site.com/forums/search/.

I am not sure if this helps, but, if you explain closer what is happening, maybe I can help more.

    Hello Milan,

    Thank you for you reply.
Finding the url of the search page is OK, the trick is that the theme interferes with the way it displays on the Search page. Also, on the result page, the “Show the power search forum” button doesn’t display anything so I think there is a conflict with our principle plugin Woffice. It would be great to be able to create a page and to call the form by a shortcode like the [bbp-search-form].
Anyway, I’ll keep looking for a solution on my side !

The plugin doesn’t add a new search page into bbPress. bbPress already has a default search page included, my plugin just enhances that page. So, if your theme doesn’t support bbPress search, my plugin will not be able to work.
