Support » Plugin: Five Star Restaurant Menu - WordPress Ordering Plugin » Create an “Add Item” button?

Hello. I already have a menu page setup on the WordPress site here and I would like to know if your plugin would allow me to just put an “Add Item” button next to each food item that would then open the lightbox that has information about the food item like the ordering menu on this page. If you click on the “Add Item” button, you’ll see that a lightbox opens up with more options, like adding sides, etc. Is this possible to create with your plugin so that I don’t have to create a whole new menu page?

Also, will I be able to add an “Add to Cart” button in the lightbox to actually allow the customer to add the food item to the shopping cart? I didn’t see a button like this in the lightbox in the demonstration video, but I know the plugin also has an ordering system built in according to the information on the plugin page.

    Hi filmguy,

The add-to-cart and ordering features should allow you to accomplish this. There is currently no option to have the add-to-cart button show in the lightbox. It will only show on the main menu page.

For the ability to add sides and extra add-ons for a specific menu item, that is actually part of the premium version of the plugin. The WordPress.org forums are meant for questions about the free version of this software. As such, please contact us directly by email or visit our website, and we’d be happy to assist you in using the premium version and with any questions related specifically to that premium feature.
