Create ABBR for custom required field

    Hi.
    I have created one custom field witch custom validation. In control panel of USER REGISTRATION i leave “required” option unchecked, because the field is required only if some other fields are filled in.

    How can i place the “*” on this fields?

    <abbr class="required" title="required">*</abbr>
