# Create a Text Link with shortcode

 * Is it possible to create a text link shortcode with the shortcode insertion button
   in the post editor?
    In other words use the button to insert [Download Link](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/create-a-text-link-with-shortcode/[sdm_download_link id=255]?output_format=md)
   instead of just: [sdm_download_link id=255] ?
