Create a template only for specific users

    Hi! I need advice of experienced developers. I need to create a page with access for only to specific registered users (i think i will create a new role for their). I want to know, where will be correct making a check (is user have role – do something) – in the plugin on the hook (when the page loads with a specific url) or just in template – before <html> tag.

    I do not have experience in development specifically for WordPress. And I do not know, whether it is possible make the ‘business logic’ in the template files. Maybe it is not correct or not secure. So how will the right thing to do in this case? Thanks.
