Hi, I would like my home page/front page to be a static page that reflects a single category of posts rather than all my posts.

There is some pretty detailed, complex advice on WordPress, but not sure how this applies to my theme (Coraline) as well as the fact that its a bit too complex for me.

I found this website online which also details advice:
    http://martyspellerberg.com/2011/10/creating-a-wordpress-categories-page/

What do people think of the above advice? Is it sound?

I have the Simple Custom CSS plugin now so potentially can input coding with the advice of experts – yourselves!

    My website is: http://www.sandidurnfordslater.com

You will see that my home page has become an amalgamation of my ‘blog’ page and ‘published writing’ pages (all post categories attached to my primary menu) all dumped together. I would like to control what goes onto the front page.

    Help
    Sandi
