Create a page for Category menu voices

Sorry to bother. I know I’m an absolute newbie, but I can’t get out of this error.
On my site, I created some menu categories and, clicking on the menu voice, I got a “not found” page as in screenshot.
So, I created a page with same name of the category, assigning it to that, but I still have problems. Page I created (it’s a sample, at the moment) that I want to see is linked above but, what I see clicking on menu “Chi Siamo” is as second screenshot, without formatting and links.
Where did I go wrong?

Thanks a lot for your reply.
I already checked the link (and some similar) about permalinks, but I didn’t find how they could apply to my case (but it’s surely my fault)By the way, looking at menus link, I noticed a multi structure starting with a page instead of a category. So, I think I can use this way: a page that’s base element of a menu and, then, pages the are child elements. I’ll try this way
