create new site in folder within sub-directory?

    Hi,

    I have set-up multisite to create new sites in sub-directories. Is it possible to create a new site in a folder within a sub-directory?

    e.g.
    example.com/site1/uk

    at the moment it will only allow

    example.com/site1

    I want to do this as I want to create international versions of a site which would each sit in their own folder inside the sub-directory
