# Create a new column

 * Hi, I want to add a column on the table gmwd_markers. Is it going to break the
   plugin or delete my column if I update the plugin.
    Thx

 * Thanks for posting your question!
 * It will not break anything in the plugin, so feel free to add a new custom column
   on gmwd_markers table.
 * Also, if you update the plugin from **WordPress Dashboard > Plugins** page, or
   by **deactivating/deleting** and uploading a new package, the column will not
   be deleted.
 * However, we recommend you to give it a try and let us know in case something 
   pops up.
