Create a Landing Page Child Theme

Hi

I’d like to create a child template for a landing page, so there won’t be any header or menus, just content (trying to tie in with google adwords – so don’t want visitors to get distracted with other content).

I’m not very savvy with code so is there a simple way to do this? Or a page of reference I can use as a step by step guide please?
