  • Just wanted to say that it is something that you can do

    Hi syli,

    Would you like to share your solution? I would like to filter xml file without importing whole file and then going back to modify xpath expression. I believe we are talking about same thing…handling very large xml files………….Thanks

    Hello Majac,

    I have ask the support team in order to have an answer. I must say that they are really useful and that they answer me really quickly.

    In order to create the filter I had to use xpath in the second step
    My file looks like this :
    <products>
    <product>
    <price> 19$ </price>
    <rubrori> guitare </rubrori>
    <img> img.png </img>
    </product>
    <product>
    …. a lot of things…
    </product>
    </products>

    I wanted to realise my filter on guitare for the element <rubrori> so I had to do that :

    /product[rubrori[contains(.,’GUITARE’)]]

    Is that clear enough for you?

    Do not hesitate to ask should you have any question.

    And by the way, the topic is resolved so i check the box 🙂

    Hi syli,

    That is clear enough, Thank you.
