• I tried the new version of the plugin but its lagging for about 30 seconds before showing the third step where you choose the date and time. I tried disabling all the plugins but the booking app and also used a blank template with my theme and it still didn’t fix it. I then tried the twentysixteen template from WordPress and that one lagged at the same point. I then reverted back to the older version and it seems to let me book the appointments until the end where it lets you choose to pay with paypal or pay later. When you hit the pay later button, an ALERT screen pops up and just says “ERROR” and nothing else. The appointment is booked and there’s a confirmation on the screen but when that error pops up it may confuse customers. Instead, it should say something like THANK YOU FOR BOOKING! not sure what’s causing that error though, so far everything else looked fine. I have SMS disabled and guest checkout enabled. Is it a conflict because I reverted back to an older, more buggy version that may not work with the newer WordPress? Please help, I would hate to try another plugin, yours looks like it can work so well. By the way, I’m also a PHP developer but I didn’t want to go digging in the code and making modifications that would just be wiped next update. so if you want to get technical with me to figure out the issue that’s fine.

    Since the database was different in the older version, it cause me to loose the services that I already had booked in the calendar. My appointments stayed, but all the actually services they were booked for were not showing up so I went back to the new version which still laggs.     I was able to get the lag to stop by disabling the setting > Booking Rule > Change Order. Once I removed the check from that setting, it ended up allowing customers to go through with booking their own appointments. So something with that setting is messing things up. I can use it with the time and date being the first option for now but at least we know what the cause was for now!
