# crazy double url 404 errors

 * HELP!!!!!
 * I’m using the Ultimate SEO plugin which is GREAT by the way. But in looking at
   the 404 errors, I’m getting url errors like this:

 * The first url is the url to the site and the second url is the url to the actual
   post. I’m not sure where this is or what is going on. I have another blog and
   ghost edit my mom’s blog and they all have the same problem. I don’t know if 
   it is a setting or what. I’d appreciate any and all help!

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
 * – resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting?

 * Thanks for the reply! I have a question though. If I disable all of the plugins
   the functions that they provide will be lost. The “double urls” happen enough
   that it is a problem but it doesn’t happen all the time. Like I said before, 
   I have three blogs with this exact same error. I can change the permalinks and
   the theme, do you have anymore ideas?
 * I just started using the Ultimate SEO, so these error messages are new to me.
   I have no idea how long they have been going on.

 * Only whilst they’re inactive. They should work again when they’re re-activated.
   Because plugins are more complex, they do account for a large percentage of site
   problems, so the only way to check them is to turn them off as suggested above.
