Crawl error on sitemap – "missing XML tag" What do I do?

    On my Google Webmaster tools, under Crawl, I have an error message that reads,

    “Errors”
    “Missing XML tag”
    “This required tag is missing. Please add it and resubmit.”
    “Sitemap: thespeaker.co/news-sitemap.xml”
    “Parent tag: urlset”
    “Tag: url”

    How do I fix this error? Do I need to insert some code somewhere?

    (The News sitemap is in addition to a regular XML sitemap [which I also have on the site], and is used for new sites and Google News search).
