This happens because it hates you.

FYI, if, instead of posting this ridiculous 1-star review, you had posted proper and detailed feedback in the forum, there is a possibility that I would have spent my free time helping you investigate and hopefully resolve the issue so as to enjoy the bandwidth/server-load/seo benefits, but it turns out you know better and have made your choice.

Just in case anyone takes this clueless reviewer seriously, information about this issue exists in the FAQ. There are many potential causes of this problem, but they definitely have nothing to do with Add-Headers itself.

By the way George, another reason why I left this 1 star review is because you caused our sites huge revenue loss.

By installing your plugin, made all our shopping carts show up as empty.
Our customers would add items to the cart, it will work, but on the next page, or upon a refresh, the cart will be empty.

We found this out about 2 weeks later with no sales. This plugin was the culprit.

    Hello,

Please, get your facts straight and know what you are talking about before posting such ridiculous accusations publicly.

I’ve released this plugin under the terms of the GNU General Public License version 3 WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY, without even the implied warranty of MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

So, any claim that _I_ have caused damages and revenue loss to _you_ is 100% invalid and total nonsense.

You found a WordPress plugin online that affects the caching timeout of the dynamically generated HTML pages by WordPress, activated it and you expected it to AUTOMATICALLY know which pages are your shopping carts and exclude them from caching! And you accuse me or the plugin for being responsible! Responsible for what dude? For your total ignorance and inability to configure a caching plugin for your websites?

How could you possibly expect the plugin to figure out by itself that the user has visited the shopping cart and send no-caching headers?

I’ve released a plugin that offers you a mechanism to control the caching headers of the dynamic WordPress pages. How you use it is YOUR responsibility.

The fact that you have no idea what to do with this plugin or the fact that you have misused it and lost revenue does not make me or the plugin responsible for your losses.

The bottom line is that you have rated this plugin with one star:

    1) because of a PHP warning that is _not_ caused by the plugin and you didn’t bother to ask in the forums and provide feedback so I can give you some starting points for troubleshooting.
    2) because _you_ misused the plugin and lost revenue.

So, my friend, the only one around here who is actually causing damages by intentionally spreading false information and misleading other users is YOU.

I find this unacceptable. I understand the frustration caused by revenue loss, but the only responsible for this is YOU.

I highly recommend asking a mod to remove your misleading and nonsense review from here, because you are causing damages to the plugin’s reputation while it is working fine and is doing its job as expected.

I’m leaving this review in. Opinions are acceptable in reviews.

@anevins: As I see it, a user accusing a developer for revenue loss because he is unable to configure a plugin properly for his websites is nowhere near being an opinion.
