  • As soon as I activated this plugin my site crashed and I left a review stating so, but I was contacted quickly by Stockdio to resolve the problem, as can be seen in the initial follow-up conversations below.
    Through emails and phone they found the problem and provided a replacement plugin that resolved the issue.

    Our developers uploaded recently a new version of our plugin, which fixed a potential problem that was caused on sites using certain minimizers/optimizers. Perhaps you installed a previous version, which contained the issue that has been fixed. In any event, we would appreciate if you give us the opportunity to provide a plugin that works perfectly for you, as it does for thousands of other users.

    I downloaded the Stock Market Ticker directly into my site from WordPress yesterday. All files showed it installed without a problem. Activating it is when I had the crash. I didn’t take a note on which line of coding was reported on the white screen, but can certainly re-install the plug-in, get the notice on the screen again, and report back to you, if that is helpful. I am using the Twenty Fourteen theme.

    Thank you for working with us to help us determine the cause of your particular crash. We found out that the issue happened on WordPress installations prior to 5.x, and it was related to not finding the Gutenberg editor.

    We need to make some additional tests and expect to make an update available tomorrow, which fixes this issue in all of our plugins.
