You don’t seem to have anything enabled that could even cause a CPU spike, what happens if you leave EWWW enabled for 10 minutes again, does it cause a similar spike?
It almost makes me wonder if EWWW triggered the WP 4.3 stability bug: http://managewp.com/wordpress-4-3-stability-issue-fix
As soon as I enable EWWW, the server starts overloading 🙁
Yes, I guess that it can be related to WP 4.3 bug… Will only confirm when 4.3.1 is released.

Hi,
I decided to disable the plugin and optimize the images before uploading. I’ve also disabled some other plugins to decrease the chances of any incompatibility that may overload my server.
