    Hi @nonchiedercilaparola,

It sounds like a permission issue. On installation the plugin will copy fonts to the wp-content/uploads/wpo_wcpdf/ folder. Can you check if this folder exists and if you have permission to write to the uploads folder?

this folder has 755 permision mode.

should be enough although the owner of the folder should be the server process. Are there any files in the fonts/ folder within wp-content/uploads/wpo_wcpdf/?
Do you get any PHP errors?
It’s not clear from your first post if your site even works, but if it does, could you go to WooCommerce > PDF Invoices > Status and check to see if there are any red fields there?

if i active the plugin virtual server crash becouse the cpu is too hight 98%-100%. from cpanel error i have no errors, on wp-debug.log i have this:

“PHP Warning: strpos(): Empty needle in /home/jam81119/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 658” but i think is too general warnging.

No that’s not an error that would crash your site.

Are there any files in the fonts/ folder within wp-content/uploads/wpo_wcpdf/?

i have this folder with .htaccess and index.php files inside

plus font folder with several font file.

now i try to move a backup of site to another server to investigate the problem.

Sounds good, let us know what you find!

i installed the backup of site to another multidomain hosting and site not crush but with plugin active is slower than before (cpu incrase but not until 100%).

can you suggest me how debug correctly this problem?

I have no idea what could possibly be causing a significant CPU increase – the plugin hardly does any work during normal operation. Only when you create a PDF it will require more resources (both CPU & Memory), but that’s because creating the PDF is a relatively intensive task compared to regular tasks related to serving a page to your site. Normal browsing should not be affected.

How are you measuring CPU load and how much is the increase compared to without the plugin? Is this during regular frontend browsing?
You may want to install the Query Monitor plugin, this will give you more information on which parts of your site are taking the most time.

Let us know what you find!

I am experiencing the same issue after installing iThemes Security where it tightens permissions to some folders. I notice that this folder has a number of .php files in it – is that normal?

    Which folder/folders specifically?
Are you saying that after installing iThemes Security, you are seeing a higher CPU load with than without PDF Invoices? Can you quantify this?

Let me know and I’ll do my best to help or explain 🙂
