CPTs and Special Mail Tags not Working

    I have a custom post type with a title and i’m using post name as the permalink structure.

    It doesn’t replace the template tags, it just emails me those mail tags. Actually, none of these work for some reason:

    [_post_id]
    [_post_name]
    [_post_title]
    [_post_url]
    [_post_author]
    [_post_author_email]

    Do these not work with Custom Post Types?

    **EDIT** After reading and doing some research I’ve found that it could be because I’m embedding them into my page(s) via do_shortcode() – then I changed everything from [_post_name] etc. to [_name] – I change them all but the only thing that actually started working was [_url]. [_name], [_title] do not work.

    I’m an idiot… I figured it out – it has to be inside “The Loop” so that it can pull from the post parameters. It doesn’t pull it from a pages scale.
