Any issues you are having with 0.8 can still be reported and make it into 0.8.1 yet, so don’t hesitate.

    Hi,
Can you add a new feature? It’s awesome the feature for menu icon. Can you add the new feature post_icon? I have added the new feature and it works. Where and how can I send to you this modified file?

    Hi,
    can you add a parameter?
    “show_admin_column” true/false

    like this post explain

Klode, not quite sure what you mean by post_icon. Could you link to some documentation or a tutorial?

Werther, have that in a GitHub issue, marked for version 0.9 atm. It may get bumped up if I decide to go with the 8.x route for awhile, so it wouldn’t be THAT far away.

Update: The only lingering issue with the next release is making sure the “Get code” stuff is outputting sanely.

While this is technically being touted as a point release, aka X.1, it will technically have a mix of new things + bug fixes. After it’s out, we’ll go back to the proper versioning, where only bug fixes are in the point release. Sorry for the confusion for anyone that’s confused!

    Hi!

Noticed a bug with the new version. When trying to add a taxonomy term to a custom post via the edit-page of the new post it throws the error “you don’t have the rights to do that” (paraphrasing.. ). Basically a permissions-error.

The setup is a custom post type with a custom taxonomy. No issues with colliding slugnames etc. The user is the main admin so I should have all rights. No user modifing plugins installed, no custom modifications to permissions in functions.php. Basically nothing that would interfere with the plugin 🙂

I’m using CPT UI and so far it’s excellent.

Can anyone point me to a way to customize the dashboard appearance of custom posts?

I need them to appear in a drop-down or something, because my site design requires about sixty different custom post types, and having all of them appear on the left panel would make it unwieldy.

I can live with it, but I’d rather not. Especially if I can code up my own solution without having to uninstall this plugin.
