# Course Schedule, Stundent Progress plugin

 * For what we are trying to achieve the LMS plugins seem to be over the top. We
   don’t need to design course material and/or quizzes. If using an LMS without 
   setting up course material etc. is the best solution we would be open to that,
   even if it’s a non WordPress solution that could be utilized on a subdomain. 
   It doesn’t have to be a free plugin.
 * We are looking for a plugin that would provide the following functionality.
    - Add courses with descriptions, course code, duration, instruction method etc.
      Adding custom fields might be nice.
    - Multi level categories.
    - Ability to signup for a course and pay online. Some courses will have scheduled
      dates others may not.
    - Student login and profile
    - Record of courses students have completed
    - Ability to create a path to certification based on their career goals
    - Multisite would be desirable but not essential
 * The system has the potential to get quite large. We were looking at using an 
   event plugin (possibly Modern Tribe’s) but they wouldn’t provide the course progress
   we were looking for. Don’t know if there would be a way to combine an event plugin
   with another plugin to provide what we need. Event plugins, WooCoomerce and some
   custom coding???
