@chsz,
The best way to do this is with a filter: https://gist.github.com/thomasplevy/b78714f43df2a368080d3a0cdb116c39
This example changes /course/
to /c/
— you can replace the “c” on line five with “anything” (or anything).
Filters are added to your site via a custom plugin or via functions.php file in your theme/child theme (https://lifterlms.com/docs/how-do-i-add-custom-code-to-lifterlms-or-lifterlms-launchpad/)
You can also do it with translation: https://lifterlms.com/docs/how-to-load-lifterlms-translation-files-or-language-packs/
Keep in mind that after you adjust the URL of anything like this it will cause existing bookmarks to 404 and if you visit your course right away after changing it, it will also 404 as a result of the permalinks needing to be flushed. You can flush permalinks by following these instructions: https://lifterlms.com/docs/how-to-flush-wordpress-rewrite-rules-or-permalinks/
Best,
Since I haven’t heard back from you in a while I’m going to mark this topic resolved. If you need some more help here please just reply and I’ll reopen it and get back to work.
Best,
