# Coupons Not Functioning Properly

 * Hello,
 * When coupons are applied, I get the “coupon applied” message but no difference
   is shown in cart. Cart totals still remain the same.
 * I think a prev dev messed up the file loading sequence while trying to improve
   site speed. Is there a custom JS function I can trigger to effect it? Like WC()-
   >cart->calculate_totals() but for JS.

 * It might be a conflict happening. I’d suggest trying to disable any caching plugin
   and or ensure that cart or checkout page are not cached.
