    Hi,

    I am editing an order manually in the admin area. When I edit the order and reduce the price, for example, from 17 to 14 and then apply a coupon of 10% then new price is changed to 16. Like coupon discount is applied on base price not on the reduced price. Help is required.

    Hi there,

    I wasn’t able to replicate the behaviour you described when testing on my own site. This kind of site=specific problem is usually caused by either a conflict with another plugin.
     
    The best way to determine this is to:

    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

    If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict.

    Hi Siobhan,

    Thanks for your reply, I tried with some of the plugins to deactivate but I cannot disable all the plugins as the site is live and client won’t allow me to make such changes which can break the layout of the website.

    Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

    Hi there,

    You could use a plugin such as the Health Check and Troubleshooting plugin. The Health Check plugin allows you to enable “troubleshooting mode” on your site. While in troubleshooting mode, you’ll be able to load your site without any active plugins (this won’t affect the live site). You’d then be able to activate them one-by-one, to see if you can determine any causing an issue.

    Hi,

    I created a dev site and followed the steps you have suggested. I active only woo-commerce and still same issue. I am attaching a screen-grab to have a more clear view.

    After applying coupon discount is still being applied on the base price not on the adjusted price.

    Thank you for the follow-up and he clarification of the issue! I had been testing on the front end of my site, rather than by manually updating an existing order. I’ve been able to replicate the issue you described after seeing your screencast and have created a bug report for our team here:
