Hi there,
The math that WooCommerce is doing in your example would be correct.
209-21% = 165.11

Based on what you shared, it looks like everything is working as intended.
I tried with excel and my calculator, and you’re right, these are the sites that are in erreur

@watchpci those websites that you linked look like they are for finding the value of prices inclusive of VAT. That is different than the calculation you mentioned.
Those sites are showing:
Base Price + 21% = Value
So in your case, 172.73 + 21% = 209.00
That is not the same as 209-21%, as 21% of 172.73 is not the same as 21% of 209.00
Image: https://cld.wthms.co/7awktF
but there is a problem
that you add and then that you do the opposite it must be the same value
172.73 + 21% = 209.00
209.00 – 21% = 165,11
for a difference between the two values 172,73 and 165,11
??? it’s illogical

that you add and then that you do the opposite it must be the same value
172.73 + 21% = 209.00
209.00 – 21% = 165,11
for a difference between the two values 172,73 and 165,11
There isn’t any problem with the math being done.
As I mentioned these are two different math equations and because of that they have two different results.
To simplify it, think of it this way.
If you have 10 and you add half (50%) to that, you’d have 15 (10+5).
However half of 15 is NOT 5 or 10. It’s 7.5.
172.73 + 21% = 209.00
209.00 – 21% = 165,11
These are two different math questions and have two different answers.
It seems the purpose behind your questions is that you want to waive the tax (VAT) for customers on products. If so, you will not be able to do this in the way that you are trying. You’ll want to search for a plugin that would do this, or you’ll need to develop something custom yourself. I’d recommend checking [Codeable](https://codeable.io/woocommerce-support/?utm_source=woo&utm_medium=link&utm_campaign=woocommerce_joint_page) for a skilled third-party developer if you want to explore that option.
