When I add the coupon form widget to my checkout page in Elementor, it essentially disappears – it only shows (barely) when I mouse over the specific line where it resides, then it is only a thin bar with the pencil box at the end. I’ve tried to make a section and inner section just for that widget, but it doesn’t matter. I’ve added two coupon forms by accident because I can’t tell if there is one there already. The field also doesn’t show at all when viewing the checkout page in admin mode.

Second, I’d like to edit the form field text, changing the wording from “coupon” to “gift card”, for example, in the field titles, and “apply gift card” instead of “apply coupon”.

  • Hello @blueplanetphoto ,
I hope you are doing well.

On Placing the Coupon Form widget, it should appear like this way on the editor and also in the same way on Frontend. If it is not appearing properly, then maybe there is something that needs to pay attention to within your site. Will you please check first by clearing the caches completely from your site?

If that doesn’t solve your issue, please run a plugin conflict test on your site by disabling the Plugins that are activated excluding the ShopEngine, WooCommerce, and Elementor. If that solves the issue, start activating the plugins one by one and continue checking the issue. You will be able to detect if it is happening due to plugin conflict or not.

Regarding renaming the Coupon Text, We haven’t included that feature in the ShopEngine plugin yet. But this feature seems very important. Please add this as a feature request. The link to our Feature Request section is available on the Description Section of the Plugin Details page.

Let me know the update on the Coupon Code issue. I will be happy to assist you.

    Best Regards,
    Prosenjit

I cleared my server cache and browser cache and that appears to have corrected it. I keep forgetting to do that as a diagnostic. I have also submitted the field form modifications suggestion. Thank you.
