I seem to be unable to save any brands in the coupon “brand restriction” section.
Upon clicking in the text field, I am given a list of all my brands. After selecting a brand and clicking “Update,” the page refreshes and provides a “coupon updated” message; however, the brand is not saved.

All other input fields, such as products, categories, and email, function correctly and save upon clicking “update”.

  • same problem here can you please help ?

Exactly the same problem. I select the brands, update the coupon and no brands are selected.

Yes, same problem here. According to the coupon plugin author, this is the issue: This is a bug in the ‘Perfect Brands for WooCommerce’-plugin. One of their latest updates added ‘sanitize_text_field’ but they use it wrong on an array. Please contact the author.

    thanks @sgucci1

any insight into how to contact the author?
I was under the impression that this support forum would be the way.
I also reviewed the quadlayers website and could not find any support email or ticketing system.

    ______

Edit: I found a support ticketing system on the Quadlayers website, after signing up for an account. I submitted a ticket, and will follow up here with any information they provide.

I did receive a reply to my support ticket with Quadlayers:

    “Hi there
We are already aware of this issue and passed to the dev team.
Thanks for reaching us and report it
    Regards”

So it seems we just need to await a resolution/update at this point.

Yes, I did the same from their website. They said they are going to look into it. Hopefully sooner than later.

As of today, this issue is still not resolved. In version 1.9.0 it works, so switch to that version if needed.

Where can we download version 1.9.0?

I couldn’t find online, so I copied the files from my website. Here they are in zip file https://drive.google.com/file/d/1B-tY5kx_mLLatY5m-hr4a-oVdkpZPuUe/view?usp=sharing

Thank you, I usually ftp the previous version before I update, but didn’t on this one. Hopefully these guys will actually take a moment and fix their plugin since it seems to be an issue that is affecting a lot of people.
