Couple questions…

Trying this plugin out on a new site in dev…so far seems nice, but a couple things I’d like some help with:
1. Some of the pages I put a slideshow in have a bar of sorts above the slideshow, accompanied by a tall vertical grey bar to the left of the thumbnails. I can’t figure out what that is or why it’s there…

2. It seems that if you insert any image at all to the page, it gets put in the slideshow…which is rather counter-intuitive, since it seems like only images you manually put in the gallery should be in there…I found a work-around by linking photos in by URL rather that as native WP media, but is there a more elegant way to manage that?
3. Lastly…it seems that sometimes the list of thumbnails gets kind of random with where it does a “line break” when wrapping the thumbnails on the page. Fiddling with dragging-and-dropping the thumbnails can sometimes get things to line up nicely, but mostly seems like a series of shots-in-the-dark, as I’ve not really found any definitive way to just simply make everything line up nicely. Is there some kind of special magic to that?
