    1. If I place just one location, the map always defaults (centers) to Greece, only after I place a second location the map correctly defaults to the actual locations.

    2. If I configure the map to either have Wide Width or Full Width, on the front end the location pins are never displayed.

    Thanks for the great plugin…

  • Sorry to hijack, but

    1. that’s’s exactly what I just wanted to post: it always focuses on the Acropolis in Athens (minus the trick of using a second marker exactly on top of the first one, thanks for the inspiration, nick. One could even use a transparent pixel as a hidden second marker, but that still is just a hack doesn’t work, marker image is set on a global level for all markers).

    2. I did not check different width settings.

    3. The Link to openstreetmaps.org in the map’s footer is broken, as it is prefixed with the url of the original site.

4.Dragging in Chrome’s dev mode on a mobile site changes the zoom level. I cannot say, if it is the same on a mobile device, yet.

Thanks for the great plugin, too.

    Hi,

    1. If I place just one location, the map always defaults (centers) to Greece, only after I place a second location the map correctly defaults to the actual locations.

Please update to the latest version (1.3). It should fix the issue.

    2. If I configure the map to either have Wide Width or Full Width, on the front end the location pins are never displayed.

I couldn’t reproduce it. Does this happen with a specific theme or did you encounter it with other themes as well?

    3. The Link to openstreetmaps.org in the map’s footer is broken, as it is prefixed with the url of the original site.

You are right. Please update to the latest version (1.3), which should fix the issue.

4.Dragging in Chrome’s dev mode on a mobile site changes the zoom level. I cannot say, if it is the same on a mobile device, yet.

I didn’t notice that behavior on my Android. I will keep that in mind, though.

Thank you both for your feedback!

    Hi Giorgio,

My first issue is fixed with the latest update, but not the second (the pins not showing up in the front end). However, when I change to the default 2020 theme, all is well, so it is my problem (theme – as I’m the developer of the theme I am referring to). I’ll see how to adjust my theme to make the pins work in full width mode.

Once again, thanks for making this an even better one, if nobody objects, I will flag this thread as resolved.
