• 1. Logs are filling up with PHP message: PHP Deprecated: Function create_function() is deprecated messages, like 10 every second.

    2. Memory usage is reported wrong. proc/meminfo shows this:

    MemTotal: 132007476 kB
    MemFree: 130988628 kB
    MemAvailable: 130988628 kB

Yet the plugin shows this RAM : 125 GB of 126 GB (99% used)

NUTS. Now I need to review and redact all of the author’s replies…

@isaumya I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

    https://wordpress.org/support/guidelines/#the-bad-stuff

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.

There are many ways to get information you need and accessing the user’s site is not one of them. That’s going too far.

    You get the idea.

Volunteer support is not easy. But these forums need to a safe place for all users, experienced or new. Accessing their system that way is a short cut that will get you into real trouble in these forums.

@jdembowski Thanks for the heads up. I was simply asking the user if he is willing to create a test install for me to do the testing. If he is willing to do so, I would have shared my contact form link to contact me over there, definitely not posting the logins in a public forum.

I’m sorry, I guess I was not clear.

Any ask from anyone in these forums to log into another site, test site or not, is strictly prohibited. Don’t do that again, OK?

Read the why that is above. Read the alternatives I’ve posted also above, they work. If you believe that this is too much of a burden then you do have options and that includes removing your plugin from the WordPress repo if you choose. Support here is optional and no one is forced to do that.

But do not ask for any access in these forums. That includes sending users here to your contact page for that access.

@pross Thanks a lot for reporting the issues. After digging through the code, I saw that there was a major calculation issue that was causing the problem. BTW, I’m glad to say that with the latest update I just now pushed i.e. v1.6.0, all the issue you have mentioned have been resolved completely. Also now the dashboard stats also show Real Time Free RAM. Enjoy. 🙂
    Thanks again for reporting.
