Couple CSS / Commenting questions (5 posts)

    Hi there,

I'm creating a couple of wordpress sites and have to different questions that I just can't quite figure out, and would greatly appreciate if some kind soul here could take a look.

1.) on this page, there is a weird space between the footer and the main content. http://malbertdesigns.hostzi.com/

I have no idea what that space is or what is causing it as booth the footer and content don't have any top or bottom margins associated with it.

2.) On this page, I can't seem to figure out how I can just comment out the Leave a reply section of the page. When I try to comment out the comments.php the page goes very wonky.

can someone please steer me in the right direction?

To remove the ability for visitors to comment on your site then remove the call to `<?php comments_template(); ?> in your themes single.php file.

I think the weird space comes from the min-height: 400px; on your #content css rule.

    Thanks for the reply.

I managed to figure out the weird space, but I still can't seem to get rid of the "leave a reply" on the other site.

I removed the <?php comments_template(); ?> as you suggested, but somehow the pages still come up with that in the result...

    Any ideas?

    Remove it from page.php too

yup, removed it from that page as well but it's still there somehow...

Not sure what the issue is. Similarly, on this page (different site) some of the things I'm commenting out aren't effecting the live site (post title, date, etc.)

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong for them...
