Country prefix is not saved with phone number

I’ve just noticed that our customer phone number is saved without country prefix. Went back through orders all the way to date when this started and it matches the release of 2.0.0 version. Did someone have the similar issue or reported it? I can provide access to dev site if needed. I can’t see the prefix when I open the order and it also isn’t exported in any of the reports (logically, as it is not saved).

I’m having this same issue. It saves it without the country code – but then re-displays with the correct country code!? Do you store these separately? Or it might just be correctly guessing again based on my IP.
This is causing an issue with another system we use which must have valid phone numbers with country codes.
