Counting times an image is used

Hi

Is there a plugin that will count how many times an image used please? Or even if an image is used.

The problem I had is that I did an import from another site and managed to import images 3 times over. Before I rush in and delete images and then find broken images I am hoping there is another way of sorting this problem.
