Counting number of pages in a .pdf attachment

    Greetings Code Wizards.

    I’m working on a client site where visitors upload a pdf doc for review. The first 30 pages are included in the service fee, and any additional page incur a $0.10 addition to the base fee.

    I need to find a way to count the number of pages in the .pdf document and write it off to memory so I can do the math to determine if any additional charges are needed.

    Does anyone know of a way to do this? Plugin? Custom script? Has anyone done this? Any advice?
